What are you celebrating?
We have been making inroads into the special needs community through a biweekly gathering we host at a cafe that caters to families with special needs children and social spaces we are creating to deepen connections to share life and the Gospel through. We have a new opportunity to get more involved in this community because of our friend Jim. Jim has just started meeting with a special needs group of just over a dozen. They have a worship service one week and an activity the next. We are learning together how to best serve this community. How can we pray for you?
Please pray for continued opportunities to share the Gospel in our contexts.

For God's provision and for ongoing revelation of the Holy Spirit's direction for our lives, and that we would give our fulls selves to God in trust and humility. Harvest Church

What are you celebrating?
We have seen God at work in some very difficult situations. Bobbye has held on to a promise from God that her adult daughter, Heather, would come to know Jesus through a tough season of life. Heather was rebellious as a teenager and has not actively been engaged in her relationship with Jesus for some time. She was recently diagnosed with kidney failure due to a genetic disorder. Heather and her husband Chuck have been coming to church and have allowed us to pray over them multiple times. We as a community are celebrating what God is doing to reconcile them back to Him. We're also celebrating God's financial provision for the church. This has been a trust journey for me as the pastor. Early on, I would be anxious and stress over the lack of finances. Over the last two years as I have become more prayerfully Spirit dependent, I choose to trust and God keeps showing up in abundance. We are thankful for the way God uses His people but also for the unknown ways that He provides. How can we pray for you?
We are beginning discipleship huddles over the next month to train our leaders to start Communities on Mission. Pray for Rob as he leads in that space as well as our people who will be learning to be discipled and to disciple. This will be leading to a season of discerning where God will send them. Pray that they will learn to abide in the Spirit to be sent out on mission.

What are you celebrating?
Over Christmas, we met three of our neighbours in our new community. We are excited to continue to meet more neighbours and learn the needs and dreams of this community. We have also met with a young couple in our community who are interested in joining our Community on Mission! This is very exciting, as we have been praying for God to send others to join us in this work. How can we pray for you?
We are still looking for a place to volunteer in our community. Please pray that we can find a place to serve. We are hopeful that this will provide opportunities to build relationships with people in community third spaces and allow us to make a tangible difference in our community. Mark is looking for work as a counsellor. Please pray that God will open the right doors for him.

Pastor Nikki has really become burdened for a particular family of children and we are engaging them and our entire congregation with a year of the major stories of the Bible. She has been able to invite others to join her on mission serving them. We are believing God's timing is perfect as Pastor Nikki is also wrapping up her book that tells her story - "This is Help: The Fatherless Girl's Guide to Finding Love".How can we pray for you?
Pray for the children we are leading to healthy understandings of God the Father, so they will learn to trust and love God. Pray for Pastor Nikki and others as they reach our children... and hopefully parents as well. Please pray for Pastor Nikki as she wraps up her book and it goes to print. Please pray for the YMCA in which we are serving as there are challenges affecting future and viability. Please pray for us as city missionaries as we serve together.

What are you celebrating?
At Orchard Church we are celebrating a healthy launch of our Sunday Gathering in October 2024. We have continually seen God's Spirit at work in our midst as He is developing a beautiful sense of beloved community relationships. New leaders have stepped into roles in music and worship arts. New families continue to connect with us, and we sense expectancy and growth ahead. How can we pray for you?
Pray that we continue to discern God's leading and that we would walk out obedience with Spirit dependency. We have new families that are connecting with us who are coming from another church in the neighborhood that closed at the end of 2024. Pray that we receive and support them well, and that the Spirit would lead us to invite them into community. We also sense a season of going "all in," which will involve further financial support. Pray as we seek this financial provision.

What are you celebrating?
Starting in our first full year as church our leaders enjoy to cast vision together for new projects that will bring kingdom into our city! Our Community Centre is growing and we are happy to be able to start with 5 business days from now on! All run by volunteers and all run by support! We see God's provision everywhere. But much more is to do in order to grow sustainable. The Christmas time has been a time full of amazing events we could organise for the people who suffer from homelessness and build new communities among those people. How can we pray for you?
We are still sustained by the initial start up funding and we invite you to pray with us for finding sustainable income streams. Also we are praying for all of the people we meet out on the streets ... there is so much in their lives to be healed and restored and we saw God work those miracles ... so let's pray for more!

Ridgeland Church
Chicagoland | Pastors Jared & Macy Richey
What are you celebrating?
We are celebrating the move of the Holy Spirit in calling new leaders forward, showing up in real ways in our gatherings, and people wrestling with true heart transformation. The Lord continues to provide for us and for that we are grateful. We are celebrating that people are sensing the move of the Spirit in our congregation and are excited to be a part of where that is going to take us and do in us.How can we pray for you?
We are will be leaning into a three year vision that commits to knowing, practicing, and rooting ourselves in the cultural principles of prayerful Spirit dependency, beloved community, incarnational living, and missional empowerment. In this we are trusting that the Spirit will do something among us, in us, and through us that only the Spirit can do and that we would trust in the growing of the vine and support that growth as the Spirit leads. We are also sensing a move toward more specific work in the City of Chicago, so prayers for greater clarity, favor, courage, and faithfulness to follow where the Spirit leads.
